I’m currently a Principal Architect in the Storage and Availability Business Unit at VMware, Inc. focused on Software-Defined Storage technologies and primarily responsible for Virtual SAN (VSAN), Virtual Volumes (VVols), and OpenStack. As a previous architect in VMware’s Cloud Infrastructure & Management Professional Services Organization, I specialized on vSphere and Cloud enterprise architectures for VMware’s fortune 100, 500 customers.
With over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, I have devoted much of my professional career to the design, implementation, and maintenance of large physical and virtual networks, servers, and cloud architectures based on VMware, Microsoft, and other leading technologies. In addition, I’m amongst the few VMware Certified Design Experts in the world (VCDX#86), and also hold other industry leading certifications from VMware, Microsoft, IBM, and Cisco.
I have has also authored and co-authored books based on VMware and Microsoft technologies such as Mastering Virtual Infrastructure 3, MCITP: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Messaging Design and Deployment Study Guide, and MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Application Platform Configuration.
